I’ve been playing the last few days/weeks with the good stuff “old fashioned ink & vintage hand-drawn type”…Heres a few pieces I’ve created. This is purely for my own creative benefit, just playing around with an old skill. I love getting off the computer occasionally and just playing with the raw products: ink, paint, watercolour… We so get use to command undo or not using the little mistakes we make, turning them into something beautiful that was just meant to be there in the first place. Or taking granted of pure eye hand co-ordination. Accuracy of our own ability. Instead of the computer. I hope you understand what im talking about.
Anyway it has been fun, and Im going to continue this little journey and see where it takes me.

I just stumbled across this stunning blog/website of Annie Vought – Annie meticulously recreates notes and letters that she’s found, written, or received by enlarging the documents onto a new piece of paper and intricately dissecting the negative spaces with a Craft knife. The handwriting and the lines support the structure of the cut paper, keeping it strong and sculptural, despite its apparent fragility.
Gosh I find this really stunning, What patience to sit there for hours and hours and hours cutting all these out…I do appreciate her fine craftmanship!

The title explains everything….I’m so in love with PonyRiders screen printed sliced type -player homeware collection. They even make a queen size quilt/bed cover. I’m very very much in love.
